Nureva is a reasonably new (on the market for roughly five years now) manufacturer in the AV space providing leading-edge microphone soundbars that use their proprietary virtual 'microphone-mist' technology. There are five models available to choose from based on the size of the space you need to cover. The entry-level HDL200 for an MSRP of $1,599.00* is the most simplified variation in the family with ten physical microphones, wall or display mounting options, and 4,096 virtual microphone coverage for a small to medium-sized space (according to the materials, an area of roughly 18' x 18'). The rest of the model range has the following features. There are twelve physical microphones used to capture sound from the room. Nureva claims that these twelve microphones operate as 8,192 virtual microphones through their Microphone Mist technology. These wall-mounted microphone soundbars are great for use in varying size spaces as part of an audio or video conference solution. The next step up is the HDL300, with an MSRP of $3,599.00*, which provides reception for a medium-sized room (roughly 25' x 25'). A newer variation, the HDL310, for an MSRP of $4,399.00*, works in a medium+ space (approximately 30' x 30'). The Dual HDL300 kit includes two HDL300 units, for an MSRP of $6,699.00*, that work together to cover a large room (roughly 30' x 50'). A newer dual variation, the HDL410, for an MSRP of $8,499.00*, offers a few more feet, similar to the improvement of the HDL310 over the HDL 300, for a bit larger area (roughly 35' x 55'). Each unit can be wall-mounted and is available with a black or white fabric finish to match the room's aesthetic. Each microphone soundbar kit includes a Connect Module that interfaces between one or two microphone soundbar units and your conferencing device (i.e., USB-B 2.0 to a computer or 3.5mm audio in/out). The USB connectivity is compatible with most devices and offers data for camera tracking with location updates ten times a second (the type of data provided depends on the model you choose -- so research how you plan to integrate the Nureva into a more extensive solution). There are two twenty-watt speakers in each microphone soundbar for far-end audio reproduction. An included infrared remote allows for volume adjustment and muting. Each kit includes a fifty-foot CAT6 cable per microphone soundbar, batteries for the remote, a mounting bracket for the Coonect Module, and a country-specific power cord. The Nureva can be used with some platform appliances and is recognized by computers (certified for use with Windows 10/11 and Mac OS 10/11) using generic HID drivers for reliable ease of use in a BYOD environment. The microphone soundbar boasts a standard two-year warranty, and accessories carry a thirty-day warranty. Factory options for additional warranty coverage and service/support from Nureva are available and may be value-added depending on your use case. The newer models (HDL310, a single, & HDL 410, a dual kit) offer Nureva's new Console Direct Azure-based cloud management feature. We have used the HDL300 in several solutions to date with great success! We are fans of the streamlined appearance and good performance.
